Meet Ryan Satterfeal. Hailing from Bloomington, Illinois, Ryan got his start in community and undergraduate theater. Film acting soon followed, and he appeared in various student films and series. This instilled a creative spirit within him and all paths led to Chicago. Making stellar turns in the award-winning Life Unexpected & Lost in Love (which earned Ryan, Best Actor award wins for both), Clown Shoes, and a co-starring turn in NBC’s Chicago Med. In The Five, Ryan joins our ensemble where he’ll play Gregory Newman, a young man with a dark secret. Welcome aboard, Ryan!

Cast Announcement – Cara Mitsuko
Meet Cara Mitsuko. Born and raised in California, Cara is known best for her breakout role as Sarah in The Man In The High Castle. With appearances in hit shows such as NCIS: Hawai’i, S.W.A.T, Good Trouble, The Rookie, and Better Call Saul, Cara is no stranger to the world of indie film either, having starred in a variety of independently produced shorts, shows, and feature-length films. Her incisive and passionate nature has allowed her to work on many different sets in different capacities, always seeking out new learning experiences. Beyond her work in acting, Cara is a dedicated producer and has co-created a variety of impactful and important projects from some of the most original and influential voices in filmmaking today, with Wake Up Maggie being one of her latest projects. Cara is also a founding member of The Film Kind, along with her husband. Now, on The Five, Cara joins our ensemble where she’ll portray Madeline, a woman seeking truth and justice. Cast Announcement – Luis Carazo
Meet Luis Carazo This Colombian-born actor is no stranger to playing strong, complex characters. With guest starring appearances in shows like S.W.A.T., NCIS: Los Angeles, Criminal Minds, & Hawaii Five-O, his film credits are equally impressive, which has seen Luis play a variety of lead and supporting characters in a myriad of short and independent films. However, outside of acting, Luis is best known in the tabletop community for his portrayal of Nines Rodriguez in LA by Night. And, as an avid fan of TTRPG, it’s Luis’s appearances in Critical Role’s Exandria Unlimited: Calamity and Candela Obscura that have solidified his presence as one of the best players in the community through his thoughtful portrayals of two memorable characters in these shows. In The Five, Luis joins our ensemble cast where he will play Reed. We cannot wait to introduce the world to his character. Welcome aboard, Luis!

Meet Marla Feldman Freeman. Having appeared in a myriad of films, television, and numerous national commercials, some of Marla’s on-screen credits include Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street (2023), White House Plumbers (2023), and Rxcall (2022). Outside of film and TV, Marla’s theatre credits include stellar performances in House on Haunting Hill, Yes Virginia There is a Santa, Romeo and Juliet, and Bye Bye Birdie. In The Five, Marla joins our ensemble where she’ll play Marie. Welcome aboard, Marla!

Meet Patrick Day With a 4-decade career in film, TV, and theatre, Patrick is an acting and filmmaking force, having portrayed a variety of characters, cementing his mastery in the craft as a true character actor. Having appeared in shows such as HBO’s Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, Netflix’s Monster, and Freevee’s Bosch: Legacy, Patrick has enthralled audiences in indie hits such as Favor, Cruel Hearts, and – most recently – Fluorescent Beast. Outside of acting, Patrick is also an accomplished director and producer, having helmed an impressive array of plays and films, across many genres. Patrick also serves as the lead instructor and director of the Young Actor Space, which is the premier acting school for young actors looking to improve and refine their craft. In The Five, Patrick joins our amazing ensemble where he’ll play the ruthless Daniel Leach. We’re thrilled to have him as part of the team. Welcome aboard, Patrick!

Meet Heidi Kendrick. A true entertainer, her body of work in both film and theatre speaks for itself. Heidi’s indie film credits include Sabrina Velez’s Alone Together, Scout Durwood’s Youtopia, Maria Skillings’ State of Bloom, and Jason Poon’s Girls in Bed. Her theatre resume includes a host of renowned works such as RENT, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, P.L.A.Y Noir as well her directing debut in Greece for the Saronikos International Festival of Creative Arts (SIFCA). In The Five, Heidi joins our ensemble where she’ll be playing Andrea, and we cannot wait to introduce the world to this character. Welcome aboard, Heidi!

Meet Lauren Mora.Hailing from California’s Central Coast, Lauren has been an LA resident for years, where she began her career wowing audiences in a variety of plays staged at local theaters across the city.What followed soon after were roles in several independent films and TV shows, such as the psychological horror Golden Earrings, the critically acclaimed & award-winning web series Misdirected, the heartbreakingly beautiful Scrap, and, more recently, 2022’s A Christmas Story Christmas.Outside of acting and producing, Lauren carries the distinguished title of “Ultimate Fan of ‘The Princess Bride’”, a title earned in the presence of the film’s director, Rob Reiner, and Inigo Montoya himself, Mandy Patinkin.Joining our growing ensemble cast, Lauren will play Isabelle, a woman who carries a heavy weight on her shoulders.Welcome aboard, Lauren!

Having written and directed a diverse array of stories from powerful dramas to spine-chilling thrillers, and beyond, Marion’s storytelling prowess has captivated and entertained audiences worldwide.Now, she joins our ensemble cast of characters in The Five, where she will play the role of Thea.
